Skyline Ranches Girl Finalist in Cooking Contest - Vote!
Posted on Apr 25th, 2019
Addie Borgmann is a fifth grader at Skyline Elementary and lives in Skyline Ranches.  After winning the Grand Prize for Elkhorn Public Schools, she went on to represent Elkhorn on the National level for the Champions Cook-Off Challenge.  She made it to the top 40 and has now made it into the top 5 in the nation!  This is the first time that a student from Nebraska has made it to the Top 5!

Over 2700 students from 256 school districts across the nation participated in this cook-off challenge.  The theme was Healthy Fiesta and Addie prepared her "Skinny Mini Mexi Meatball Boats".  The other finalists represent Washington DC, Oregon, Oklahoma and Washington State.   You can help bring the trophy home to Nebraska.  Voting is live until midnight EST on Sunday 4/28/19.  You can vote as many times as you want at  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FutureChefs
