Skyline Tree and Dump

Dear SRPOA Members,
 
Recently, your association had to dispose of the mass of tree branches and other brush at our ‘dump’ area inside Skyline Corral. It has become necessary that we hire outside contractors to grind the product as we can no longer burn and hauling the pile away is too expensive. The equipment used in this process is jumbo sized and ‘very’ expensive to operate. Over the last several years, we have spent in excess of $6,000 per year to dispose of the tree branches and brush left along with ‘at least’ two trailer loads of garbage, stone, lumber, fence, tires, etc...

We need your help! Over the past couple years, our trail committee has relied on a spartan crew for support as they travel the trail system cleaning up natures mess. pamthielen@speednet.com could really use some help. Are you available?

Start planning now for the annual 4th of July fireworks display.  We will be serving at 6:00 pm until the food runs out.  Bring your favorite beverage to drink, blankets, chairs, games, family and friends and frolic until dark when the amazing fireworks display will start.  (Don't forget your glow-in-the dark necklace.)

Go Fish Kids Annual Fishing Clinic
Saturday, August 12, 2017, 12:00 to 4:00
Come join Skyline Ranches, Nebraska Walleye Club and the Nebraska Game & Parks for our Annual 'Go Fish Kids' fishing clinic. Children (especially special needs children) are provided expert fishing instruction and equipment before they adjourned to the pond to try their hand at 'catching the big one'! Lunch is provided and the event is free to all participants. Check in at noon at the picnic shelter in Skyline Corral. The tree and brush pile is closed for the duration of this event; No exceptions.
